PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMPS
A Pump for transferring liquids that are:
High in viscosity-up to 2,000,000 centipoises Abrasive Fragile and susceptible to particle breakdown Varying in specific gravity Requiring continual agitation A high percentage solid Made up of large particles (up to 1/2") Hardened steel with industrial chrome or tungsten carbide plating
STYLE A closed frame unit
STYLE B open throat frame unit
Both styles of pumps are capable of discharging rates from 2.5 GPM to 150 GPM, depending on the pump size, and of pumping at a continuous rate with a maximum discharge pressure of 400 psi.
Strong Progressive Cavity Pumps Consist of Three Basic Parts:
Drive Assembly-contains two heavy duty bearings and packing chamber Materials Supply Chamber-closed frame or open throat style (depending on model) Pump Elements-hard steel rotor and rubber lined stator
Strong Progressive Cavity Pumps are constructed of steel with the exception of the stator which is lined with natural rubber. Other materials are available upon request.
